Mar 1    Empty Bowl 2015
Overview: The Empty Bowl Luncheon is an annual joint fundraiser for both the Golden Harvest Food Bank and the Augusta Jewish Community Center, two very worthwhile causes. The two organizations have spearheaded this event which involves the entire community: students, teachers, restaurants, caterers, groceries, businesses and artists, all with one goal in mind, "Ending Hunger Together." Empty Bowl provides an enjoyable Sunday Brunch, Lunch or early Dinner for families and individuals where guests enjoy a wonderful "all you can eat" soup kitchen style buffet consisting of a wide variety of soups, breads, and desserts; all donated by the CRSA's best restaurants, caterers, and food companies. It is an informal and fun event for the entire family and includes special programming for children. This is the fourteenth annual Empty Bowl event and this year will be better than ever!

Bring your resume and prepare to meet with more than 20 employers including: Augusta National Golf Club, Augusta Chronicle, Biomat USA, Richmond County Schools, Georgia Regents University and many more! Get prepared with Job Fair Boot Camp held Tues., March 3 at Snelling Center, from 10am-12pm and 2-4pm. Classes are taught by business professionals represented at the Job Fair. Mar 7    The 26th Annual Cookin' for Kids
Come and join us for the 26thAnnual Cookin’ For Kids! Cooking teams compete in a wild game, fish and
BBQ cook-off that is judged by local community volunteers. Cooking teams offer samples of their
culinary creations! Past entrees have included fall-off-the bone BBQ and ribs, venison chili, fish tacos,
alligator, catfish stew, dove, duck, bear, red fish, salmon, and shark, just to name a few! Hamburgers,
hot dogs and french fries are also sold by the Exchange Club to raise money for child abuse victims.
Come sample delicious food and have fun with the entire family. Activities include The Georgia
Southern Wildlife and Raptor Program with shows at 12:00 &2:30, children’s games, arts & crafts and 5
huge inflatables! Admission: ages 13 and over are $5; ages 12 and under are free!
