Maintenance Engineer
Department: Engineering
Responsible for maintaining the WFXG facilities and equipment as well as executing facility improvement projects.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform maintenance and repairs on building facilities such as basic electrical, basic plumbing and general repair as needed
• Responsible for maintenance and scheduled repairs of company vehicles
• Tasks involving replacement of lights and fixtures, situational cleanup, and working with vendors
• Interior finishing skills such as drywall, painting, flooring and tile work• HVAC experience a plus
• Assist with the installation of new equipment into existing plant systems
• Must be available for on-call emergencies
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
• General knowledge and experience in maintenance repair
• Construction skills in drywall, paint, flooring, demolition, plumbing, electrical required
• Be a self-starter and complete tasks within reasonable timelines
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Good eyesight and hearing, ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing, walk upstairs and sometimes long distances, ability to lift equipment that may exceed 50 pounds, ability to sit for a long period of time, ability to handle often stressful situations under deadline, good manual and overall physical dexterity. Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces.
